Day 5: December Birchbox

The December Birchbox is one of my most highly anticipated boxes. I love Christmas and Winter, and I also love receiving my Birchboxes. Each month I am excited to see what I have received and whether they will live up to my expectations. This month's excitement was no exception; I'd been loving the new drawer design for the boxes - as it makes reusing the boxes so much easier.

December's box was slightly different, I really like this box as should you wish to it would be easier to re-gift it should you wish to. I like how the lid perfectly slides off to reveal a beautiful maroon gift bag, housing this month’s products inside.

First up on the list is....
Ciate Fierce Flicks Eyeliner
This particular eyeliner is a full size product for this month’s Birchbox. What is amazing about it is the darkness of the colour. It is extrememly black and seems to glide onto the eyelid effortlessly. I’m extremely happy with this product and know it will be a constant in my make up bag.

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara
Who would not be excited to received a product from Bobbi Brown. I was extremely excited to see this in here. I have used some of their products before and loved them. This is a mascara, in the colour Black that rarely happens, I have not tried this product yet but am excited to give it a o.

BeneFit the POREfessional: Matte Rescue
What is amazing about this month’s box is the three make up items. Generally, I will get one, possible two, make up items and the rest will either be skincare or haircare. I loved the original POREfessional back in the day, so and excited to try this one. It claims to balance the excess oils which is perfect!

Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm
I love Percy & Reed products especially their hairspray and dry shampoo – which I had tested thanks to Birchbox. Once again I have yet to use it but this claims to moisturizes, boost shine, smooths, softens, protects and speeds up styling – wow. What a claim – one I cannot wait to find out if it lives up to expectations.

Finally
dr.brandt PoreDermabrasion
With this highest RRP at £43 this product definitely has high expectations; it is the only skincare item in the box which I like. I do not like getting thrown too many products for the face – too many new things can cause my skin to break out. This claims to be brimming with salicylic acids, stating to exfoliate, unclog pores and even out skin tone. Another product I am excited to try.

I must say this month has met all my expectations. The December boxes are generally the best so I am excited to see what will happen next! And to also use these products over Christmas.

Merry Christmas
